This course is the first 75 hours of the intermediate level 3 course. This course is appropriate for apprentices with more than 300 hours and less than 450 hours of classroom code and theory instruction.

Every adult needs an estate plan. This course will teach you the fundamentals and elements of will and trust based estate plans. When you have all the proper elements in your plan you and your family will be protected and cared for in the event of incapacity or death. Each class participant will create a customized Estate Plan Design Summary during the course. Topics of review will include: Wills, Trusts, Financial and Health Care Directives, Life Estates and Homestead Protection, Guardianship and Elder Law, DIY Estate Planning Mistakes. Video-based instructor-led course that teaches adult, child, and infant CPR AED use. The course also includes how to revive choking adults, children and infants. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training. Students will get a completion card at the end of the course. Please wear comfortable clothing. Card is $20, payable by check to Pulserate, the night of class. A $5 optional book is also available for purchase from the instructor. Video-based instructor-led course that teaches high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants. You will learn the AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components, use of an AED, effective ventilation using a barrier device, and the importance of teams in multi-rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR. You will also learn relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants. This course is perfect for all First Responders, Police, Fire, EMT, Nursing students and Dentists. You are already familiar with Excel; further develop your skills beyond the basics in our Intermediate Excel 2016 course. In this course students will work with the instructor to develop enhanced knowledge in following five skillset areas: Create and manage worksheets and workbooks, manage data cells and ranges, create tables, perform operations with formulas and functions, create charts and objects. Intermediate Excel 2016 students will also be introduced to Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts, powerful interactive tools that summarize data. There are so many new materials available today compared to just a couple years ago it’s a bit overwhelming. Sometimes I don’t know where to start when buying materials and trying them out. The same is true about fly patterns. There is a lot of new fly’s that are utilizing the latest materials or old fly’s that are modified by replacing standard material with something new. The intermediate/advanced fly tying class includes the use of a lot of new materials and some great new fly designs. The class is based on learning the techniques used to create some of the most successful new patterns today such as Game Changer - Original version and Feather version, Bulkhead Deceiver and Hollow Fly, Intruder style on shank and tube, and Articulated Streamers. There will be a mix of saltwater and freshwater fly’s. Bring your own tools. This is a hands-on class. All materials and hooks are supplied! Welcome to Intermediate Salsa! This is a couples and/or singles course, which will delve into the intermediate level of Salsa dancing. The moves will be fancier and the pace will quicken so we will be stepping up our abilities. The lesson is 2 hours with the first 30 minutes being warmups and run-throughs covering individual footwork, Cross Body Lead, Dip, Hammerlock, Partner Turns and Haircombs. The next 90 minutes will be an in depth session of a single Salsa intermediate pattern, partner dance moves and so much more! Please note that knowledge of the Basic Step, Cross Body Lead, Haircombs and the Hammerlock are needed for this level and the speed will be a medium to higher level. Each new lesson is comprised of entirely new moves, patterns and practicing so be sure to attend as many as you can! This course is designed to build on the Introduction to Programming using Java and is also open to anyone with some experience using Java. This course delves into the power of Java including networking and Graphical User Interface (GUI) design and Java 8 features. Course topics include: netbeans and eclipse IDE, networking and multithreaded programming, graphical user interface design, UI design components, functional interfaces and lambda expressions, Java 8 date/time and stream API’s.

This course is the starting point for anyone interested in a Plumbing journeyman license. The course will teach the following lessons: Introduction to plumbing, safety and installation practices, materials, tools and joining methods used in plumbing, valves & devices used in plumbing, residential blueprints, math and definitions.
